Welcome! "Travels and Trails" includes journal and information pages. The journals include a six-month Appalachian Trail thruhiking journal, ten-week China and Nepal trip, multi-month U.S. road trips, many other trail reports, three months in Australia and New Zealand, and much more. As of October 2009, I've started to update the site to include my last three years of travels in Asia, South America, and Antarctica. Also featured are informational pages useful to hikers and travelers whether planning a long-distance backcountry hike, a week-long trip to Paris, or months traveling across continents.
