[pct-l] Parking in Wrightwood?

The bottom of the Acorn trail is private prop and THEY are notorious for towing and being hiker unfriendly.  We used to park at the catholic girls camp near the bottom BUT alas the caretakers have moved on ....... so not sure if they are still friendly.  Best place to park is Inspiration Point or Vincent Gulch West of WR.  If you can get that far once you hit the Blue Ridge the uphill stops and the views can be quite glorious.  Rt 2 does not go through yet so the only folks West of the ski resort are hikers.  There also are some nice trail angels in town ....... check with the hardware store for names.

About 5 years ago, I left my car on a residential street just off the road
leading up to the start of the Acorn Trail (It leads to the PCT.) in
Wrightwood. It was there for about 24 hours with no trouble.
