There is no public transportation to Cascade Locks, but Greyhound has service to Hood River...Great for people that want to section hike Washington.

Plus, the Full sail tasting room is in Hood River ;-)

This might be a silly question, but why are you going to be in Hood River such that you'd wanna ride to Cascade Locks?

I believe its called the CAT shuttle (Columbia Area Transit). They only run it twice a day to Cascade Locks and you do have to call them first to arrange a pick-up. But they are prety flexible and cheap as i recall (around a dollar or two).

>From the Greyhound stop in Hood River you can catch the gorge bus to Cascade Locks, walk across the Bridge of the Gods and be on your way. If I remember correctly, you need to call the gorge bus and let them know to pick you up.
