http://cdec.water.ca.gov/cgi-progs/queryDaily?s=bsh&d=today gives the
high and low temps at Bishop pass (11,000 ft.)

I just returned from a long weekend at Mammoth. While walking the dog
at midnight, I was comfortable in shorts and windshirt.
Standing at the scenic overlook, gazing out at the Minerettes, looking
south to Tully Hole and north to Donahue pass, snow appeared to be a
non-issue. Tioga Rd is open all the way, and skiing has stopped for the
year at Mammoth Mountain.
