> 1) Marmot Arroyo +30 Sleeping Bag. (I like a full zipper.)

Hiked about 700 PCT miles with this bag in 03. Great bag! It leaks some
feathers, though I'm sure that even over a good length of time it can't
amount to much. I've been told you can send the bags back to marmot and
they'll re-stuff them for you, they just ask that you clean them first. I
guess they've smelled hiker before. ;-)

I just picked up the new version, the Hydrogen 900 fill. Apparently there
are no 900 fill bags for a while due to the bird flu, so you'll only find
this in stores that still have it stocked. Anyway, more or less the same
bag, but six ounces lighter, half zip, and improved shell material.

Both have a nice roomy footbox (no cold spots where toes are pushing against
the bag) and in general have enough room to move around (for me anyway, at
5'9, 180)

In reviews/comparisons I've read, these marmot bags come out on top.
They're nice bags, warm (to me), thoughfully designed, and very light.

I'd consider the hydrogen though, if you can. Hunt around and see if you
can find the 900 fill version.

Cheers,
Paul

2) Also Granite Gear Vapor Trail 3600 pack.
