No proxies currently, but if you were a member you could propose it and work
to get it enacted. However given the votes I have seen at biennials it is
unlikely that just adding more voters would change the outcome. All of the
them have been essentially unanimous.

I hope there is no one on this list that doesn't have some issue with almost
every organization to which they belong (unless you are the CEO :-).)
Obviously the people on this list have invested a lot of their time and
effort in hiking the trail and presumably found it worthwhile or they
wouldn't bother even being on this list. It is their responsibility to try
to correct things that they see that could be better.

Lots of differences of opinion are really due to bad information, but
without knowing what your problems are, it is hard to comment and certainly
others will not take up your cause for you if you don't express an opinion.

The Board is elected by ALL the members that show up at the biennial
meeting.

Is there provision for absentee balloting? My Pension Fund that is invested
with Fidelity sends out a notice for proxy designation. Is this somthing
that might encourage participation among the members?

I have not renewed my membership as I have some difference of opinion and
there are so many organizations that I enjoy being a part of that are
available.
