Thank you for your thoughtful reply.  My personal feeling is that we used to be closer to the management of the trail.  I feel that we're separated from that now.  Maybe it's the local trail club aspect.  I don't feel that we have any direct in-put anymore.  Maybe the organizational part of ATC was screwed up before, but I felt that it was mine.  We in the hinterland couldn't see that it was screwed up, just that we Were the trail community.  a'bear
