I am hoping that Fall, as opposed to Summer, will be bug free. :)

The trail sounds a bit like the a mini-version of an Eastern CDT.   So a slog in the beginning for the first 70 miles, then onto some nice tread. Woo hoo!

What a way to see a New England Fall again.
