[at-l] Intriguing journal entry

It was 4/3/97, I was sectioning GSMNP S>N. Sly and Trip were there along  
with a Family (Sarkura, Netty,Jerry and Linsey Johnson[Mother/Grandmother,  
Mother/Sister, Son/Grandson/Nephew, Son/Brother/Uncle] good folks) didn't record  
and don't remember if anyone else was there. Either the day before, that day, 
or  the next Sarkura had dug a sizeable batch of ramps during the day and we  
all added some to our dinner pot; perhaps I don't remember Sly snoring  because 
the sound was covered up by the ramp smell. You were a day or two  ahead.

Gee Plum  Crazy, I entered the Smokies on Easter Sunday, I believe that was
March  31st that year.  I spent the second night, April Fools night at  Spence
Shelter.  We couldn't have been too far apart.  I last saw  Sly while I was
taking it easy around Standing Indian Mt/Deep Gap  area.  I'm trying to
remember if I remember someone with that  trailname from the registers or
seeing them in person.
