A gear question!!!  I am planning to get back to backpacking.  I really need to lighten my load so I am in the market for a good down bag.  Price is a consideration, however I am over 6 ft tall (6'6") and way over weight.  Besides that I have the shoulders of a middle linebacker.  Down is definitely lighter than any fiber filled bag.  I am looking for a three season bag.  I will hike when it is cold, but i won't sleep outside if the temperature is below 30 F (I have but that's another story).  I find most mummy bags too constricting.  I guess if I wasn't so lazy I would go thru Mara's gear web page.

Beautiful day, got happy feet.  Really don't want to work in the lab.  I may play hooky this afternoon.
