While I have not hiked that section of the AT I do know that when it leaves  
Stratton Mt. it has to cross over routes 11 and 30 to go near Bromley.   From 
Route 11 one can go west into Manchester, VT or East into Londonderry,  VT.  
Once you go into the woods the only reaupply available is if someone  air drops 
a gift.
