Without seeing plans for the reroute, I fear this could turn Bromley into
another "pointless peek", where you climb all the way up the mountain but
never reach the summit, and the of course miss the view too.
As for having to deal with the trail crossing or climbing on ski trails, it
would be nice if the article had pointed out that Bromley Ski Area is nice
enough to allow hikers to use their summit building as a shelter in the
summer (or did the last time I was on the LT), and I happily made use of it
to camp through a midsummers night thunderstorm....
