Great thought on the "bridge" hybrid vehicle technology, thanks.  You know, I see nuclear fission plants in a similar light, a hopefully temporary (maybe dirty and stupid) solution on the way to something really cool like fusion.  All we need are room-temperature superconductors, and we'll be all set.

I tried putting that windmill in the back of my truck.  Didn't work worth a shit.  The Hybrid vehicle I believe has always been considered a "bridge" vehicle.  Testing in a real world environment.  Trying to transition into a commercially viable alternative.
