[at-l] Upstate NY/Toronto Vacation

I'm in the very beginning of planning an upstate NY vacation for late July/early August.? The "must do" list includes:

Niagara Falls
baseball game in Toronto
a day?at the races at Saratoga
Corning glass museum

I want to fit in some easy day hikes--probably in the 'daks and Finger Lakes.


For those of you familiar with the grand circle I'm contemplating, can you suggest:

1.? some relatively?short, easy day hikes? (I need knee replacement surgery, so the hikes can't have strenuous climbs)

2.? any other "must do" ideas--great museums appreciated, great places for a rental canoe/kayak paddle,?things like a wine tour or orchards, etc.

3.? campgrounds that are nice and won't break the bank

I've got some guidebooks and literature, but you all are always a great source of ideas!
