10 years ago this morning was when I found the watch beneath the picnic
table at Daicy Pond Lean-tos.  I dusted it off and proceeded to carry it
2140-some miles. A few years later, Stoat would carry that same watch
from The K to The Spring.  It seems he may have lost it in the meantime.
So it goes.

A while after finding the watch...and, I'm not sure how much later...the
most famous picture ever taken of me was taken. During lunch at Abol
Bridge. I had an interesting conversation with an interesting couple
there, too.  And, just before we got to Hurd Brook Lean-to...where we
spent our second night...I lost my Petzl. So, there was balance in the
universe.
