[at-l] Foot Bridge

Is anyone from that area? Would the bridge be used by AT hikers only, or
would it be used by other folks in the area to get from Pt. A to Pt. B? The
reason for the question is that there are a lot of bridges in the country
across highways for local folks to use to get across safely. And just like
crosswalks and pedestrian signals, that would seem to be something that the
highway department should pay for. On the other hand, if it is purely
conducive to AT hikers, then maybe the ATC or NPS might chip in? Or seek a
grant from the Federal Dept of Transportation.
