Yep..still lurking. :)
Now that I am back in the land of limited vacation time and add in the fact that I had a recent scare with Grandma Mags (it's all good..just reminded me she is 88 yo. ), I need to get back east for an extended family visit AND still get in my longish-backpacking fix.
The Cohos Trail, at 160 miles, looks doable. Seems to be rugged like the northern part of the LT. Only have to catch one flight to Boston or Providence, take the bus up and off I go. Finish up, and see the family a bit fly back to Colorado.
Anyway, planning an Autumn trip (New England in the fall? Awesome!).
So far, I've looked at the new and improved website. I like what I see.
Just looking for overall impressions of the trail at this point. Navigation challenges really that bad? How rugged is it? (i.e. like northern LT?) Resupply? Etc.
Thanks!
