[at-l] sending journal from the trail

I'm still hiding up here in my tree house, about 5 miles from Pinkham
Notch.  Watching the snow melt pretty rapidly right now!  Not a bad hiding
place!  Last year was a year of only day hiking (which isn't a bad thing,
when you have such places as I do to spend dayhiking!) but this year will
finally get me away for a month.  Actually . . . I'll be off for three
months (sabbatical) but will spend the other two in other, sabbatical
related, pursuits.
