[at-l] trip of our life time

After reading and talking to Jim & Ginny and JoJo's car and hiking 
excursions we decided to take our trip of a life time.

Our departure date for Alaska is rapidly coming.  Lots of panicky,
though most are resolving, situations are happing right now. Gas pries
are going though the roof.  The camper rental company told us two weeks
ago that the camper we reserved would not be available.  It turned out
that the replacement is better.  The US government finally issued me a
passport.  One of the dogs had to have knee surgery.  Yesterday we 
learned, our homemade dog food is allowed into Canada but might not be 
allowed back into the US(Alaska).
So, on May 5th, 2 adults and 8 Samoyed's all self contained in a 29 feet 
camper will hit the road.  Who could have ever predicted that 2 adults 
along with 5 Rescues(thrown away Samoyeds) plus 3 more Sams from our 
breeder friend will be backpacking/RV camping for weeks in Denali, 
Alaska. Then going to the Northwest Territories to cross the Arctic 
Circle for some more.

Additionally we will be spending time looking for land in Northern
Wisconsin and Alberta.  We are planning lots of day to three day hikes 
during the trip. After 10,000 plus meandering miles we will
return to the Catskills in August.
