What I find cool is, in the 'thickness' map, how
there's a depression developed in the lee of the
Appalachian ridge, from roughly the southern tip of
GSMNP to the northern tip of SNP -- as if there were
great CO2 sponges just sucking the stuffing out of the
air.
(Yes, I know, thank you Mr. Obvious...)
