DOCers?  Are those the pants made by Levis?  And what made them loud and obnoxious?  Were they sort of a pink madras plaid corduroy blend?  I can imagine that the sound of corduroys coming down the trail would be pretty obnoxious.  I probably couldn't hear to talk on my cell phone.
