He also served in the Maine State Legislature. It is a sad loss for the State, he loved serving his community, and he will be missed both by the hiking community, and the citizens of the State of Maine who had great respect for him and held him in the highest regards.

I send my best wishes to his family and may he rest in peace knowing he did what he always thought was right.

I haven't been able to find an on-line obituary for him. If anyone here knew
Moxie and can provide me with some additional information for our newsletter
and that I can pass on to Chuck Wood so that he can create a Last Blaze for
Moxies family please contact me...

I realize I'm a couple of days behind in hearing about this)
