[at-l] Knee Problems, need advice

One of the major problems with indoor exercise machines (aside from being
BORING!) is that the motion is so repetitive with so little (if any)
variation in the motion. When you are hiking, you are constantly stepping
over, around rocks, roots and the like, turning your foot this way and that
depending on the tread way. On a treadmill it's the same thing over and over
and over. Yes, you can vary the speed but it's still the same motion. Maybe
if you painted some rocks and roots onto the belt of your treadmill? :-D
Have you talked to a physical therapist?
