[at-l] Water in Mt. Rogers area

(Hiking southbound, of course)  I 'camelled up' at Wise Shelter (drinking and
drinking and then drinking) and carried two liters.  Spent the night at Thomas
Knob where I was just careful with water use. Found out you can do dinner and
breakfast with two liters if you're careful. Next morning I hiked to that
wonderful spring on Whitetop. There MAY have been water otherwheres, but we
didn't really need to look for it.  
 
Does anybody know if it's reigned in the area recently?
