[at-l] Trail conditions November through December?

You won't have any trouble. You might have some snow, and you might not.
We've been in serious drought conditions in NC and VA, though the recent
rain should help. I haven't been out in any snow in Nov/Dec that made the
trail impassable for an experienced winter hiker.

It'll be cold, and dark, and lonely (and did I mention cold?) That said,
it's one of my favorite times to hike. Seriously, you'll get some cold at
night, but you can have anywhere from 20 to 70 during the day, great views
from the ridgelines.

Wear blaze orange, lots of hunters out there that time of year.
