One of the best things I did on my recent hike was take about 1/3 of a 
cup of ground Starbux coffee in a baggy and keep it in the top pocket of 
my pack.  The smell was intoxicating. And, on the third morning, when I 
actually made some...outstanding. I'll never understand how a teaspoon 
of cold water makes the grinds/grounds settle to the bottom...but, man, 
what a cup of coffee that was.  sigh....

I've got a picture of me breaking several of Tinman's safety rules, 
too.... I'll have to do something so as that y'all can see it.
