Hi Hummingbird et al;

I'm in Thailand, staying with a friend in Bangkok while I get some dental
work taken care of.  In addition to my time in Bangkok, I've already spent a
couple of weeks in Malaysia and Singapore.  Next week, I'll probably head
off to do some hiking in an area known for its waterfalls.  I'm very much
looking forward to getting out of the city for a while.

Fiddlehead is actually in the US right now and since I'm not planning on
hitting the beaches south of Bangkok until I swing back through Thailand
later this winter, I probably won't meet up with him until then.

Easiest way to keep up with me is through my TravelsAndTrails yahoo group (
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/TravelsAndTrails/).  I'm the only one allowed
to send email so it's a very low volume list.  If for some reason anyone is
unwilling or unable to join through yahoo, I can add your email address to
the list without your having to join yahoo but then you won't have access to
archives and other group capabilities.

I'll be sending a long overdue update to the yahoo group within the next few
hours.
