Listers,
The agg website is down and I've been "working the problem" for the last few
days. This all happened while I was in New Mexico hiking in the Gila
Wilderness....of course. I believe we will have the new site built and
online in a few days. This is the notice that will be posted on the front
page later today FYI.

Dear Fellow Hikers,
Last week the server that hosts the AntiGravityGear website was the target
of a spam-relay attack. In the course of 72 hours they used our server to
send out over a quarter million spam email messages. This attack overloaded
the server and we had our website taken down to evaluate the impact. No
personal financial data has been compromised because we refuse to store that
information in order to better protect our customers' privacy. Our plans to
upgrade the website later this year have been moved immediately into high
gear. We have chosen to aggressively deal with this attack and err on the
side of safety even if it means the website will be offline for a few days.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
While our website is in transition, please feel free to call or fax us at
910-794-3308, email tinman at antigravitygear.com, or snail-mail orders to 609
Hollingsworth Drive Wilmington, NC, 28412 for your Ultralight Hiking needs.
AntiGravityGear will be online again shortly and we thank you for your
understanding and patience.
Sincerely,
George (Tin Man) Andrews
