[at-l] 2006 PCT DVD Copies Available

Hello Trail Community!
 
I have 100 copies of the 2006 PCT DVD available to
give out. I was inspired to create this DVD from
watching Weathercarrots 2004 PCT DVD. It was created
using photos, video and music from over 55 hikers. In
total I had about 25,000 images to select from. It
represents the best of the best from a large community
of PCT hikers. After the trail last summer, I spent
the winter and innumerable hours creating it. It is a
labor of love- and a gift to the trail community. 
 
The PCT DVD series that this is part of is an awesome
phenomena- community originated productions. They are
a great way for hikers to share their pictures and
visual stories with other hiker. They are a great
yearbook. They are also inspirational. I do have a
warning: after watching this DVD you will want to hike
the PCT. 
 
Like Weathercarrot, I do encourage you to create a
theater like environment to watch it. There is an
option to watch it in surround sound. Also, there is
more after the credits: the PCT song from Crazy Horse.

 
If you would like a copy of the DVD, please email me
the address you would like to have it shipped to. It
looks like I missed the cheaper postal rates, this
type of package doubled in price. Donations are gladly
accepted to cover the costs of distributing this. When
you get a copy, feel free to make copies and give it
others as well-- that is another awesome thing about
this series- it is all volunteer based. The DVD's are
not for sale-- they are to be offered as a gift.
