True in principal but not necessarily in practice, e.g. ambulance chasers or
the many ads by law firms on the radio offering services to sue for asbestos
cases or other medical issues. Ah, for the good old days when advertising by
doctors and lawyers was unethical.

I was waiting for that one! :) As I LOVE to point out, lawyers never sue
anybody, and never render jury verdicts either; think about those two,
simple truisms for a minute . . . for any lawsuit to be filed, a PERSON must
authorize the lawyer to file the suit, and for any verdict to be reached in
a civil or criminal case, with very rare exceptions, that verdict is
rendered by everyday folk like you and me - often requiring a unanimous
decision . . . the bottom line is that it is good folk like you and me who
both make the decisions of who to sue and over what, and the decisions about
who deserves what at the end of the case - something to think thru! :)
