[at-l] Cold In NE

Been very cold in New Hampshire the last few days.  Woke this morning 
to negative 20F.  Just north of Mt Washington it was negative 33 F a 
couple of days ago.  It was so cold on Tuesday that I did not go 
skiing.  The high temp for Tuesday was zero with a steady wind making 
wind chill -30.  Yesterday(Wednesday), I taught several hours of ski 
lessons.  It was cold but very little wind. When I returned home the 
power was out.  Had to scramble to get a fire going to keep warm. 
Today, the wind is suppose to return.  I have several group lessons 
already scheduled.  I usually handle the cold very well.  More often 
than not the students complain and want to go in before the end of 
the lesson.  The best thing about very cold weather is how clear the 
air becomes.  Mount Washington looked amazing from the summit of 
Gunstock.  When I got home last night with the lights out a plain was 
passing overhead.  The flashing lights from the plane were reflecting 
off the snow.  I have never noticed that before.  Survival would be a 
challenge in these extreme temps.  It is suppose to warm up tomorrow 
with temps reaching 50 degrees on Sunday.
