take very special care in making any corrections to the proof !!

the "typesetters" -- do they still call them that? -- on one of my brother's
books really misunderstood his corrections . . . it wasn't fixed until they
sold out the hard copies at put it into paperback . . . it's best to type
out the way it SHOULD read rather than using editing marks!
