[at-l] In need of AT water supplies North of Fontana Dam in SMNP

Bayou here,

After about of month on the PCT, I am back in New Orleans.  It was just to HOT and I did not enjoy hiking two or three days without a tree for shade.  One could not hike the PCT without the water that is left, for the hikers.

Not I am planning a week hike North of Fontana Dam in the SMNP and I am trying to find out about the water supplies.  I hear it has been very dry for GA and other areas of the Southeast.  

My son and I will be headed that way in mid Aug..  So, in general how is the water flowing in the SMNP??
