Totally agree with youSkeeter!...I did the Long Trail last year...and found 
the upper 2/3rds to be a real challenge....but a great one...its a good prep 
for doing an A.T. thru...and I know the ladder your talking about....did you 
know that porupines actually try to eat it?...and its aluminum...off to do a 
thru this March...hope to see at the Ruck.
