Oh I just hiked from
Three Forks to a couple of miles?? past
Woddy Gap.  I was rewarded with
wonderful pictures of velvet grass and flowering dogwood and many many
mayapples in early May...
Was spooked by the Rangers trying to
hide and went down the wrong path
through some wonderful hemlocks.
My time was definety not waisted.

Second hike was a day hike with Rosaleen
across Wayah bald.  Wonderfull day to hike.

BTW Trifocals are lousy for seeing trail sign
arrows at dusk.
