I'll second that.  I had to correct someone on TrailForums recently who posted a question about glacier "glass's."  Can you believe it?  He thought "glasses" was spelled "glass's."  

It's stunning how many people don't know the basics of the English language.  (Maybe it's un-PC to teach English in the schools today, as it may offend illegal aliens.)
