***I remember how much fun and how beautiful it was sitting on the granite outcroppings and watching the fog swirl and dance around me...I'm with you some of my best photos and great memories are of snow, cold, fog or dripping scenery... there is one memorable photo of me posing in my "bag lady" costume (it was summer, it had rained for 8 hours, I had no raincoat and I was a cold...it was AT summer) a garbage bag was all I had and I was SICK of rain but me in that bag was one funny photo!! :)
   
  its all good, and a 2 days in the rain on the trail is worth 1 at my desk...

  ...but the drizzly foggy days remind me of hiking 
the AT, 
and those memories are good ones.  People look at our CDT pictures and 
see 
the snow and think "I wouldn't do that" - but some of our most 
beautiful 
hiking was through snowy landscapes.  Even burned forests can have an 
eerie 
beauty.  It's all good.
