I suspect (or at least hope, since atheists can't
pray) there's gonna be some changes come next
Tuesday.  Almost surely for the better.

In particular for New York state, Eliot Spitzer --
a real hero, IMO -- will almost certainly be
replacing George Pataki as governor.  I've been
admiring Spitzer for years and there's nobody
more deserving of that post than he.

I can't think too many public officials anywhere
in the USA, at any level of government, who have
worked more diligently, honestly, or effectively for
the interests of the governed (and not just in
New York State) than Mr. Spitzer.

And MA will be getting Deval Patrick to replace
Mitt Romney.  It's shaping up to be a good day
from where I sit.
