I used to be. I've climbed it quite a few times.
But then this little project called the "A.T." got in the way,
so my attention has been focused elsewhere.

Here's another more recent photo -- from the early 1990s
I think. We were up for a weekend of skiing at Sunday River,
near Bethel Maine and staying at a lodge in Gorham.
The weatherman was predicting a severe blizzard on Sunday
so we decided to cut and run. This was the view from Rte. 16
at sunrise on our way home.

Mt. Washington is visible from some of the slopes at
Sunday River, particularly the upper lift stations at Jordan Bowl.
Of course, Mt. Washington is visible from many points on the
AT in northern New Hampshire and southern Maine.
