Life is full of 'may's and 'may not's. If you've got things linin' up in 
such a way that you can do something you want (assuming you really do 
want to thru-hike) without a great deal of inconvenience, etc., I say do 
it. And, if you don't do it, get a job you like and make that be a good 
thing. I'll say this...more than likely, hiking ISN'T going to get 
fisically easier for you as time goes on....
