Twice a week keeps the pack weight down. I did 42 mail drops.
Actually my wife sent the mail drops and I picked them up. It worked
great. I used advice from Baltimore Jack to avoid post offices
wherever possible so that it would not force extra days in town due
to weekend closings, holidays and peculiar hours at rural post
offices. Outfitters, motels, hostels, and other establishments that
agree to accept mail drops as indicated in "The Companion" and/or
Wingfoot's handbook have a great list of appropriate places to send
mail drops.
