It comes from the combining of SOUTHERN and RUCK.... SORuck.  The PARuck is
for the folks that live in the north.  When I first saw PARuck, I kept
trying to pronounce it like... paw-ruck.... never made sense to me til somin
said it was for Pennsylvania (PA) Ruck.  I just felt plum silly after that.
