[at-l] OT question....

When you need to find an answer, where does one go?  The at-l, of  course!
 
I have a couple electronics that use a USB cord to plug into my  computer.  
Although different brands, some of them fit with one  another.  I've tried to 
keep them apart, but now I'm confused and only one  has the brand name on it.  
Two have thin wires, while one is  fairly thick and "shielded".  Is it OK to 
use one for all items?  
 
If it matters, they're a GPS (garmin), MP3 player (creative) and a camera  
(canon-labeled as such)
