I read that sad story and thought about my two girls when they were little
and about the little girl that sat next me on the airplane from Chicago
Sunday night . . . Mama was afraid she'd be too much of a nusaince for me,
but we became good friends really fast, and I enjoyed holding her up to the
window to see the lights of Atlanta as we approached . . . she loved it . .
. It's really hard to imagine a tree a falling while walking by it and
snatching away such a young life . . . tho' it's not too hard to imagine
tying a hammock to a rotten tree in the dark!
