In our conversation Jack mentioned that he hiked 900 miles this year. He's
currently not on the trail but "back home" in Hanover for awhile. --RD

Thanks for the report, Rockdancer.  Hope it all works out for you. and your
back.  I hope it is cooler there than it is most other places.

I am beginning to think that Baltimore Jack has clones.  It is just not possible
that he is so many different places at once!  The fact that you saw him that far
North makes me think he must be completing #9 thru.  If you have not been to his
AT workshop at the Gathering, don't miss it.  
It is one of the best ones I have ever attending.  This man knows what he is
talking about!
